Private employment agencies will not charge citizens for their employment abroad. Payment for this service will be made at the expense of the employer. Such norms are contained in the draft law of the Ministry of employment and labor relations of Uzbekistan, which was published for public discussion until March 24.

According to the document, PEAs will be allowed to provide paid consulting and information services to potential labor migrants. However, their cost will be limited to a maximum of two basic calculation values.

An important innovation is the requirement for PAEs to register all contracts with clients in the electronic database labor-migration of the Ministry of labor of Uzbekistan. If the agreement is not entered into the system, it will be considered invalid.

In addition, it is proposed to increase the amount of the reserve fund required for licensing a private employment agency to 8,500 basic calculation values.
