Chapter 1. General provisions 
 
The Ministry of employment and labour relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan (hereinafter — the Ministry) is a government body implementing a unified policy in the field of employment, labour migration and labour relations and is accountable to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Ministry in its activity is guided by the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the regulations and other legislative acts.
Decisions of the Ministry taken within the limits of its powers are binding on state and economic management bodies, local Executive authorities, other organizations and their officials, as well as citizens.
The Ministry, territorial and subordinate divisions included in the organizational structure of the Ministry are legal entities, have a seal and letterhead with the image of the State emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an independent balance sheet, Treasury personal accounts, Bank accounts, including in foreign currency.

Chapter 2. The Ministry's System
 
The Ministry's system includes: 
Central office of the Ministry;
Ministry of employment and labor relations of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, main employment departments of regions and Tashkent, district (city) employment promotion centers;
The Agency for external labor migration, its subordinate regional branches for employment of citizens abroad, centers for pre-departure adaptation of citizens traveling abroad, and representative offices of the Agency abroad;
Republican scientific center for employment and labor protection;
Republican courses of improvement of qualification of workers of bodies for labor;
Centre of professional training of unemployed citizens in the city of Tashkent;
regional vocational training centers for the unemployed and unemployed;
qualification assessment centers;
Information and computer center LLC Mehnat.uz""; 
Republican specialized professional colleges for persons with disabilities in Tashkent and Ferghana;
professional college;
Public works Fund under the Ministry of employment and labor relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

The Ministry of employment and labor relations of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the main employment departments of regions and Tashkent, as well as district (city) employment promotion centers are subordinate and accountable to the Ministry and, respectively, to the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the khokimiyats of regions and Tashkent, as well as districts (cities).
 
In carrying out its tasks and functions, the Ministry interacts with other state and economic management bodies, local government bodies and other organizations.
