A delegation led by the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations is in the Republic of Korea to discuss the current state and prospects of cooperation in the field of labour migration.

During the visit, Minister Nozim Khusanov held a meeting with the Mayor of Gwangju, Republic of Korea Lee Yong Sob.

During the meeting, Nozim Khusanov praised the Mayor of Gwangju Lee Yong Sob for fulfilling the tasks assigned to him on conditions created in Gwangju for temporary employment of 4.6 thousand Uzbek citizens and the practical assistance provided by the Foreign Labour Migration Agency in the Republic of Korea.

The perspective goals to be achieved in these areas were discussed in detail, and the actions of both sides in the future were clearly defined.

At the end of the meeting, the mayor of Gwangju was awarded a special letter of thanks from the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
