As part of the implementation of the tasks set out in The Presidential Decree "On priority measures to mitigate the negative impact on the economy of the coronavirus pandemic and global crisis phenomena", Minister of employment and labor relations N. KHusanov visited Pap, Turakurgan, Uychi and Kasansai districts of Namangan region to provide practical assistance to the population.

The Minister got acquainted with the construction of 400 greenhouses in Pap, 250 — in Kasansay, 150 — in Turakurgan and 100— in Uychi districts. This will provide employment for low-income citizens, young families, migrant workers, citizens who need employment and want to go abroad, as well as help the population get a source of income through the effective use of farmland.

The Minister of labor got acquainted with the 1.2-hectare greenhouse allocated for 100 citizens who need employment in the "Birlashgan' and "Vodiy" communities of Pap district, and also met with citizens and informed them about the conditions created by the state.

Such projects are planned to be organized in all regions of the region at the expense of the State employment assistance fund and loans from commercial banks under the program "Every family is an entrepreneur" for low — income, young families, migrant workers and citizens in need of employment.

N. KHusanov also got acquainted with the activities organized to expand social support for the population at the expense of the Public works fund under the Ministry.

Public works to combat the spread of coronavirus infection and prevent other global threats were organized in Turakurgan district to ensure employment.

In particular, former law enforcement officers are involved in the work of the people's protection posts that are set up at each mahalla, unemployed nurses and graduates of medical colleges are involved in performing public works on the ground, former employees of epidimiology services are involved in disinfection works, and citizens who are currently unemployed are involved in the construction of social facilities under the "Obod kishlok" and "Obod mahalla" projects.
