In April of this year, 864 unemployed citizens were involved in paid public works in the Jarkurgan district of Surkhandarya region and 497,072 million sums were allocated from the Fund of public works. For May, 589 unemployed citizens are involved in public works and it is envisaged to pay 443.4 million soums for the salary payment. A total of 28.2 million soums were allocated for the construction of greenhouses for 17 unemployed citizens; the purchase of seeds, seedlings and irrigation facilities.

Three co-operatives were established in 45.2 hectares of land in the district, as a result of which employment of 150 people was provided . They received 223 million sums from the account of the state Fund for employment promotion.

Also, in order to ensure employment of unemployed citizens in 6 multi-storey houses in the Navruz district, they are involved in construction, repair and landscaping work.

On may 11 of this year, the First deputy minister of employment and labor relations E. Mukhitdinov studied the state of work carried out in these places and gave the necessary recommendations.
