During the COVID-19 pandemic, measures are being taken to provide employment for the unemployed and reduce poverty

The Minister of employment and labor relations N. Khusanov studied the work carried out in this direction in the Kasbi and Kasan districts of Kashkadarya region.
 
First, N. Khusanov visited the house of a resident of the mahalla "Muglon" of the Kasbi district  R. Arabova and got acquainted with the activities of the greenhouse created on its 2-hectare plot. On the basis of a grant from the State employment assistance fund, the greenhouse of R. Arabova was repaired, and the necessary seedlings were delivered for planting.
 
Disabled person of the 1st group M. Murtozaev, who lives in the "Yuksalish" mahalla, said that a greenhouse is also being built on the site next to his house, which he is satisfied with.

It should be noted that to ensure employment and reduce poverty, 101.2 million soums of subsidies were allocated to residents of the Kasbiysky district for 46 houses, 2.2 million soums each. As well as 450 citizens are currently engaged in public works.
 
Activities in this direction are also carried out in the Kasan district of Kashkadarya region. To provide the population with a stable source of income, a total of 26.8 households in the region were allocated 50.8 million soums for the allocation of subsidies in the amount of 2 million soums. With these funds, greenhouses were built, seeds and seedlings were purchased, and citizens who had problems with the irrigation system were provided with water pumps and wells dug in courtyards.
Today, 687 citizens of Kasan district are involved in public works in order to ensure employment.

Now about the situation in Karshi.

In total, in Karshi, 313 unemployed people were involved in public works in mahallas, 400 in public works of the city's Improvement epartment, 50 in sanitary and epidemiological works, and 24 people work at checkpoints.

Also in the mahallas, 62 residents are involved in public affairs to care for the needy, 100 people work at enterprises, 10 — at mobile retail outlets organized by the Prosecutor's office of the city of Karshi, 8-in charity centers under the Youth union and 5 citizens help families under quarantine through the police.
In addition, there is a practice of allocating subsidies from the State employment assistance fund. In particular, 17 unemployed people in Karshi received funds for greenhouses, 1 for pumping equipment, and 8 received assistance in registering businesses.

Given the low income of the citizen, the greenhouse was built at the expense of a subsidy from the State employment fund. To a person who lives at the same address as Sh.Bozorov, who returned from military service in 2020, was assisted in obtaining documents for paid public work in the mahalla.at the moment, he works at the headquarters of the entrance to the city of Karshi.
100 low-income family members of Karshi district of Kashkadarya region received subsidies in the amount of 223 million soums from the State employment fund.

In addition, to ensure youth employment, 31 young people were allocated 1 ha of land and funds from the Employment promotion center.
A resident of the Khanabad district, D. Halimova, was also provided with work. At the expense of the State employment fund, a greenhouse was built for her on 1 ha of land.
