The Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations signed tripartite memorandum

The Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Xalq Bank and  “Tadbirkor Ayol” Association signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding.

Today, the expansion and protection of economic, social rights and opportunities for women are one of the priorities of state policy. Particular attention is paid to support their entrepreneurship and public initiatives, as well as facilitating access to financial and educational information resources.

The main goal of this memorandum is to increase the economic and social activity of women by expanding their knowledge, economic, financial and legal literacy, developing entrepreneurial skills and developing women's entrepreneurship and improving their business environment.

Based on a tripartite memorandum, the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations organizes the registration of women registered in the "Ayollar daftari" who want to start their own business in the district (city) employment promotion centers as job seekers or unemployed, and the Association coordinates orders of departments for training in short-term training courses. In addition, funding will be organized for short-term training courses for women registered in the "Ayollar daftari", looking for work and/or registered as unemployed who want to start their own business. In this regard, the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations, through its regional offices, will provide the Association with practical assistance in organizing and conducting training courses aimed at developing entrepreneurial skills. Also, the ministry will provide auditoriums with the necessary equipment in the buildings of educational institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations for conducting training courses.

Association "Tadbirkor Ayol" will prepare short-term courses, curricula and programs for the formation of entrepreneurial skills, organize training courses, publish textbooks on the basics of entrepreneurship and business, conduct training courses in accordance with the orders of the regional departments of the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations. At the end of the training, women will be awarded certificates of completion and credits based on the success of their business projects.

Xalq Bank compiles a list of women registered in the "Ayollar daftari", looking for work in district (city) employment promotion centers or registered as unemployed in the prescribed manner, wishing to start an entrepreneurial activity (for obtaining a preferential loan). Those wishing to start an entrepreneurial activity (to obtain a preferential loan), to employment promotion centers for training in short-term entrepreneurship courses. Also, preferential loans will be provided to women who have successfully completed training courses, have a certificate, confirmed in accordance with the established procedure, and have started entrepreneurial activities.
