Currently, a group of builders from the regions of the country is working to eliminate the consequences of damage caused by the break of the dam at the Sardoba reservoir.

First Deputy Minister of employment and labor relations E. Mukhitdinov on May 21 this year studied the implementation of work in this direction in Mirzaabad and Akaltyn districts of the Syrdarya region.

1500-2000 workers from the regions of Uzbekistan are engaged in construction and repair work in the affected areas. In addition, able-bodied people from the local population are attracted here. E. Mukhitdinov, having studied the current situation, expressed his suggestions and recommendations to officials for more effective organization of work.

It should be noted that persons involved in activities in the Syrdarya region on a contractual basis are provided with conditions that meet the requirements of quarantine: free accommodation and 3 meals a day, wages from 1.5 to 2.5 million soums per month.
