Projects to support the population are being implemented in Karakalpakstan
In April, during the quarantine period, 422 unoccupied residents of the Kanlykul district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan were involved in public works on the implementation of the projects "Obod kishlok", "Obod mahalla", "Obod markaz" and were involved in preparing land for planting, including irrigation, on the orders of farms and enterprises - to clean up reclamation systems. They were also involved as auxiliary guards in disinfection work, looking after lonely elderly people, the disabled and those in need of care, and in other areas.
For this purpose, 105 million sums were allocated from the State employment fund.
In addition, 20 hectares of land were allocated from the State employment assistance fund for the agricultural cooperative, and 111.5 million sums were allocated as a subsidy for the employment of 50 unemployed people.
In addition, 78 million sums from the subsidizing fund were allocated to 35 poor families for the construction of light greenhouses, the purchase of seeds and seedlings for planting on private and field plots, as well as for the purchase of irrigation equipment.
On April 17, this year, First Deputy Minister of employment and labor relations Erkin Mukhitdinov visited the district and got acquainted with the work done. He also gave recommendations on how to use the available opportunities more effectively.
