The quarantine and restrictions imposed in order to combat the pandemic affected also labor sphere. In order to reduce its negative impact, the President of our country signed a decree ”On priority measures to mitigate the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic and global crisis situations in economic sectors". In pursuance of this decree, the Minister of employment and labor relations N. Khusanov on may 20 of this year learned about the situation in the Markhamat and Kurgantepa districts of Andijan region.
There are a number of measures to support entrepreneurship and provide employment, expand economic activity and employment, in particular, to assist low-income families in accessing real sources of income.
In particular, a rabbit breeding complex has been established in the Markhamat district. In order to provide employment for unemployed citizens of the district and provide them with a source of income, the company supplies the population with a pedigree rabbit at the expense of credit funds of a commercial bank. The Minister of labour visited the house of A. Khayitkulov and got acquainted with the implementation of this process.
In addition, the Minister got acquainted with the activities of the carpet shop of the district, as well as with the work of the public involved in LLC "Agropilla".
