An event dedicated to the signing of Memorandum of Cooperation was held between the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation of Germany in Uzbekistan.

It was attended by Minister of Employment and Labour Relations Nozim Khusanov, First Deputy Minister Erkin Mukhitdinov and Head of German Konrad Adenauer Foundation branch in Central Asia Ronnie Heine, Project manager of the Foundation Ashraf Alikulov.

In the meeting issues regarding the development of bilateral cooperation, support for equal rights and opportunities for women and men in the labour market, external and internal migration, the elimination of forced labour, vocational training for young people, increasing the level of knowledge and skills in support of entrepreneurship were discussed. Issues such as the study of implementation prospects also were discussed.
