A meeting between the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of Israel in Uzbekistan was held.

It was attended by the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations Nozim Khusanov, First Deputy Minister Erkin Mukhitdinov, Ambassador of Israel to Uzbekistan Zeavit Ben Hillel, and Consul General Idan David.

During the meeting, parties discussed current situation in the labour market in Uzbekistan, reforms in external labour migration, vocational education and training of migrants in Uzbekistan, migration situation in Israel, as well as the signing of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State of Israel "On the organization of involvement, labour management and protection of the rights of migrant workers that are citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the territory of the State of Israel".

The parties also discussed issues of further effective cooperation in labour migration sphere.
