New joint project of Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations and IT Park for the training of IT specialists with subsequent employment - "Future Skills Uzbekistan"

The signing ceremony was held on January 11, 2021 and the launch of a new joint project of the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and IT Park - "Future Skills Uzbekistan". This project will train more than 1000 IT professionals throughout the Republic in 10 areas and will assist in their employment or self-employment (freelancing).

 

In order to improve the system of professional training in the field of information technology, meet the labor market needs for qualified IT specialists, as well as ensure the successful implementation of the "Digital Uzbekistan - 2030" Strategy and the widespread introduction of digital technologies into the daily life of the population, on the joint initiative of the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and IT Park, on January 11, 2021, the ceremony of launching a new project "Future Skills Uzbekistan" was held in the building of the Ministry. The event was held with the participation of the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations N. Khusanov and Director of the Directorate of the Technological Park of Software Products and Information Technologies F. Ibragimov.

The ceremony began with the introduction of the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Nozim Khusanov, where he detailed the essence of the project. In his speech, he paid special attention to the prospects of employment and self-employment, he also noted that the project implies preferential quotas for training provided to unemployed and job-seeking citizens.

During the launching ceremony of the project, a presentation was made by Farhod Ibragimov, where he provided all the invited guests with detailed information on the chosen areas of training for future IT specialists, namely: web development, mobile application development, IT security and network technologies, work with data, mobile game development, mobile robotics, graphic design, 3D modeling, English, IT management. He also noted that the teaching staff of this project is a young, professional and ambitious team.

At the end of the ceremony, the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations and IT Park signed a Memorandum, and also organized a press briefing, where representatives of the press asked their questions about the project and received detailed answers from the Minister and Director of IT Park.
